The best way to cool down the car is to tilt the sunroof up so hot air can escape while the fans blow air into the cabin. It does not charge the battery at all and does not power the heater either. Disadvantage is you no longer have a moonroof. either sunroof is open or it's closed.

Jul 2, 2022 · The easiest method to check the alternator is by measuring the voltage at the battery terminals when the engine is running. Start your A6. Connect the black cable of the multimeter to negative terminal of the battery, and the red cable to the positive terminal. The voltage should be between 13.5 and 14.8 volts with the engine running.
Apr 13, 2016 · I remember that from my 1967 VW Bug that I bought new – it was great that it had a 12 volt battery as earlier ones had 6 volts – progress.
